Jim Ling helps develop breakthrough personal care applications that are safer for consumers and the environment.

Jim Ling is a Lead Scientist for Fluorine Products at Honeywell. In this role, he is currently focused on using Solstice® molecules in Personal Care products.

Solstice® Enhance and Solstice® Propellant are not flammable and can help produce safer products for consumer use. They have an ultra-low global warming potential and minimum impact on the environment.

He is currently developing breakthrough personal care applications ranging from hair and skin care to sun care. Jim’s work with Solstice is non-industrial, which is a new and unique experience for Fluorine Products.

His advice for new recruits is to just be themselves and always keep an open mind, because you just don’t know what opportunity is waiting for you.
