Let’s talk about utility damages.
As the underground utility space grows increasingly overcrowded, it’s not surprising that there’s a complementary uptick in damages to utility lines. These damages are dangerous to utility workers who are dispatched on repair jobs, and costly; it’s estimated that $30B is wasted each year due to direct or indirect damage to buried utility lines.1
The Common Ground Alliance (CGA) shares our commitment to preventing damages to utility lines and protecting other underground assets to increase the safety of those who work and live near them. As we continuously look for ways to better serve our utility clients, we’re heading to Orlando for the 2023 CGA Conference & Expo to demonstrate how our line locating services, GIS digital mapping technology and gas leak detection solutions are designed to mitigate utility damages—and their associated costs.
By providing utility companies with connected devices, software and services, we’re supporting the CGA’s goal of zero utilities damages. Stop by BOOTH #209 to learn more about how we’re shaping the future of utilities.
